Last week IViR said goodbye to Anja Dobbelsteen, our operations coordinator and heart and soul of the Institute for almost 30 years.
It will be hard to imagine the Institute without Anja. She started working for IViR when the Institute was still small in size and housed at the Rokin, in the middle of Amsterdam. While the institute grew in size and scope and also changed location multiple times, Anja was always there to support, give advice and basically run the place.
We will miss Anja at the Institute, but wish her all the best for the future with lots of travels, theatre and art exhibitions!
What we call the beginning is often the end

As of September 1st, Carla Lampers took over from Anja Dobbelsteen and is our new operations coordinator.
With a background in HR and finance, she is a versatile generalist with extensive experience in a variety of sectors, including accounting, media, retail, and higher education. Previously, she held a similar position in the Media Studies department of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Amsterdam.
