Z. Warso

Zuzanna Warso is Director of Research at Open Future. She has fifteen years of experience in human rights research and advocacy. Since 2019, she has served as an independent expert for the European Commission, contributing to the monitoring of EU-funded research and innovation projects. She is also a member of the AI Act Advisory Forum.

Zuzanna passed the bar exam in April 2017 and served as Vice-President of the Human Rights Section of the Warsaw Bar Association. She holds a PhD in international law from the University of Warsaw.

Her current research and publications focus on EU AI industrial policy, including questions related to public and private investment, transparency, infrastructure governance, and the political economy of AI development.
