As of November 1st, Nico van Eijk was appointed Chairman of the Dutch Review Committee on the Intelligence and Security Services (CTIVD). Therefore, he has resigned as Director of our Institute.
Nico was part of the Institute since 1987, initially as a doctoral candidate and researcher and since 2004 as Professor of Information Law and Co-Director of IViR. In 2014 he was appointed Director of the Institute.
We are very grateful for everything that Nico achieved in his academic work as well as in his managerial positions for the Institute. We congratulate him with this prestigious appointment, and wish him good luck in his new career.
