Op 24 januari 2020 is Prof. Mireille van Eechoud officieel benoemd tot voorzitter van de Commissie Auteursrecht. De Commissie Auteursrecht heeft tot taak de regering en de beide Kamers der Staten-Generaal te adviseren over wetgeving op het terrein van het auteursrecht en de naburige rechten. De adviezen worden gepubliceerd op www.overheid.nl.
