The Lab will be actively working with partners and stakeholders in this field. (See also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uva.nl\/en\/shared-content\/faculteiten\/en\/faculteit-der-rechtsgeleerdheid\/news\/2019\/02\/information-law-and-policy-lab.html\">Donation to Establish Information Law and Policy Lab<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>From 15:00 to 17:00 we have an attractive program, featuring a series of short \u00a0presentations, followed by drinks. Speakers include Pam Samuelson, Bob Glushko, Andr\u00e9 Nollkaemper, Marietje Schaake (European Parliament), Hans de Zwart (Bits of Freedom), Bernt Hugenholtz and Stef van Gompel. Lab students will give presentations on current projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The implications of the Press Publishers\u2019 Right (art. 15 of the recently adopted Copyright in the DSM Directive) for journalists and bloggers;<\/li>\n<li>The revision of the (e-Commerce Directive\u2019s) regulatory framework on notice and action-policies of internet intermediary platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We kindly ask you to confirm your attendance by sending an e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:m.pauws-huisink@uva.nl\">m.pauws-huisink@uva.nl<\/a> and look forward to welcoming you on 20 May.
