The European Court of Human Rights has set up a non-judicial, practical, pragmatic\u00a0mechanism to exchange information with national superior courts on issues related to the\u00a0European Convention on Human Rights:
\nthe Superior Courts Network (SCN). It was launched\u00a0as a project of the President of Court at the end of 2015 and it has been operational for two\u00a0years now.<\/p>\n

Ms. Onur Andreotti, Lawyer and SCN Coordinator, Jurisconsult Directorate of the Court, will\u00a0give a short presentation on the SCN at Amsterdam Law\u00a0School on Thursday, 6 September from 10.00 \u2013 11.30am<\/strong>. She will discuss how the SCN\u00a0functions (see, in this regard Introduction to the Superior Court Network (“SCN”)<\/a>)<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0what its place is within a broader \u201cdialogue between courts\u201d. Her presentation will be followed\u00a0by a discussion.<\/p>\n
