Following the successful launch<\/mark><\/a> <\/mark>of the Information Law Series Archive<\/mark><\/a><\/em> in September 2024, ten more volumes have now been made freely available online on the IViR website<\/mark><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

These include three ground-breaking dissertations: Stef van Gompel\u2019s account of the\u00a0history and future of copyright formalities<\/u><\/a>, Wolfgang Sakulin\u2019s pioneering\u00a0Trademark Protection and Freedom of Expression<\/u><\/em><\/a>\u00a0and Nadezhda Purtova\u2019s study on emerging\u00a0Property Rights in Personal Data<\/u><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other volumes for IP enthusiasts to discover are the comprehensive collections by Irini Stamatoudi on Copyright Enforcement and the Internet<\/u><\/em><\/a> and by Tatiana Synodinou on the Codification of European Copyright Law<\/u><\/em><\/a>. Also included is a rich collection of historical essays on how (once) new technologies shaped the law of copyright<\/u><\/a>, edited by Brad Sherman & Leanne Wiseman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sports fans will be happy to learn that the wonderful\u00a0Intellectual Property and Sports<\/u><\/em><\/a>\u00a0festschrift that was published on the occasion of Bernt Hugenholtz’ retirement from IViR is now also freely available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More volumes will be added to the online archive in due course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Information Law Series<\/em>, established in 1991, is the world\u2019s first and foremost academic book series in the field of information law and policy.
