Presentation on European Court of Human Rights’ Superior Courts Network

The European Court of Human Rights has set up a non-judicial, practical, pragmatic mechanism to exchange information with national superior courts on issues related to the European Convention on Human Rights:
the Superior Courts Network (SCN). It was launched as a project of the President of Court at the end of 2015 and it has been operational for two years now.

Ms. Onur Andreotti, Lawyer and SCN Coordinator, Jurisconsult Directorate of the Court, will give a short presentation on the SCN at Amsterdam Law School on Thursday, 6 September from 10.00 – 11.30am. She will discuss how the SCN functions (see, in this regard Introduction to the Superior Court Network (“SCN”)) and what its place is within a broader “dialogue between courts”. Her presentation will be followed by a discussion.
