Rosanne van der Waal studied Information and Library Science at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) and Culture, Organization and Management at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam. At the moment she is in the final stage of finishing a Master degree for Cultural Information Science at the University of Amsterdam. From 1997 she worked as an (assistant) librarian in IViR's Documentation Centre. Since 2006 she is the coordinator and information specialist of the Documentation Centre.
She is responsible for the acquisition, classification and curation of the information law collection, assists the research staff and students with their information inquiries and is the general coordinator and content editor of the IViR website. She is also responsible for the external communication about IViR’s research and activities via social media and for the registration of the Institute’s academic research output.
