Ljubiša Metikoš is a PhD researcher at the Institute for Information Law, the Paul Scholten Centre for Jurisprudence, and the Research Priority Area Human(e)AI. His research combines insights from information law and legal philosophy to understand the impact of AI on legal decision-making. Specifically, his research focuses on the protection of due process and the right to a fair trial in a digitized judicial system. To this end, Ljubiša is interested in a wide variety of legal instruments, including fundamental rights law, privacy law, and AI regulation.

His PhD is a part of the Digital Transformation of Decision-making project and the Digital Legal Studies sectorplan. Ljubiša is supervised by prof. dr. mr. Iris van Domselaar and prof. dr. Natali Helberger.
