Curriculum Vitae

|
Wouter Hins is an Associate Professor of Constitutional
and Administrative Law at the University of Amsterdam
(60%) and Professor of Media Law at Leiden University
(40%). He takes a special interest in human rights and
mass communication, in particular freedom of speech,
freedom of the press, media accountability, pluralism
and access to government information.
Furthermore, he is a member of the complaints committees
of the Commissariaat voor de Media (Dutch Media
Authority) and the Nederlandse Publieke Omroep
(Netherlands Public Broadcasting. He is also an editor
of the Dutch journal Mediaforum and responsible
for the quarterly column 'Mediarecht' (Media Law) in
Ars Aequi.
