Kim de Beer obtained her
degree in Law from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in
2008. She wrote her thesis on the regulation of players'
agents. She is currently following the UvA's Master's
Course on Information Law. Her main interests are
copyright, freedom of speech and the intersection
between art & law. In addition to her studies, she has
worked as a volunteer at the Law Centre of Amsterdam and
at the Dutch Film Festival. She has also completed a
research internship at the Dutch Performing Arts Fund.
At IViR Kim started as an
assistant in the Documentation Centre. In 2009 she
worked as a research intern for six months. After that she
worked as a research assistant, mainly focusing on
copyright law. She was also involved in the
organisational aspects of IViR's Summer Course on
International Copyright Law. |
