‘Carrier preselectie’, Computerrecht 1999-6, pp. 270-278.

The article discusses the implementation of carrier preselection in the Netherlands. First of all, (the background of) the directive which forms the basis for the introduction of carrier preselection is discussed. In addition, there is a review of the vision of the Dutch legislature with regard to carrier preselection. The implementation of carrier preselection in the United States and the problems which have arisen in this respect are discussed.
