Curriculum Vitae
Masami Ashidate is Associate Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the School of Law, Tohoku University, Japan.  She is a visiting researcher of IViR (September 2004-March 2006). She specialises in intellectual property law, especially copyright law and unfair competition law. In 2004, her thesis on the legal protection of databases will be published in book form in Japanese.
